We would like to take this opportunity to inform all our patients of a change in our staff at Allergy and Asthma Associates.

To complement our medical staff of Dr. Loria and Dr. Blair we are pleased to announce the addition of Penny Flores, FNP, a Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner and over 5 years experience in treating allergy and asthmas patients. Ms. Flores B.C.F.N.P. received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University and a Masters in Science in Nursing from George Mason University in conjunction with the George Washington University School of Medicine.  She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center and is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing.  She has worked six years in Urgent care/internal/family medicine settings and has been working in the allergy and asthma care field for the last five years. Ms. Flores will begin seeing new and returning patients on Monday June 7, 2010. She will be splitting her time between our two offices. With the addition of Ms. Flores, we will be able to be more responsive to your urgent requests for appointments.  With her experience and training, she will supplement the services of our physicians.

OFFICE AND SHOT HOUR INFORMATION

Regarding Allergy Shot hours -morning shot hours do not require an appointment. We have walk in hours. Afternoon hours are by appointment only. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your shot  appointment, you may not be able to receive your shot that day. Please call the office to check availability if you are going to be late.
Please check with the office for any questions about the schedule or to schedule appointments. Note: Allergy Shot Appointments can be made up to 2 weeks in advance over the phone and up for 5 weeks in advance while you are in the office and can schedule them in our shot book.
